Adults preparing for design, installation support, or site-engineering roles in renewables
What you work toward
Graduates leave able to support domestic and small-commercial renewables work: interpreting surveys, drafting string and emitter options, and explaining trade-offs to clients without overselling yield.
Included
- Classroom modules in generation technologies and electrical fundamentals
- Supervised lab time on inverter setup, string design, and heat-pump pipework practice
- Three assessed site survey projects with written reports
- Tutor office hours and end-of-programme portfolio review

- Personal PPE beyond the starter kit
- Travel to optional industry open evenings
- External certification exam fees charged by awarding bodies
How enrolment proceeds

Preparation
GCSE-level maths comfort and an interest in practical engineering help; prior trade experience is welcome but not required.
